BreatheKC is a mindfulness brand, providing products, training, and resources focused on promoting balance and health. Our organic and sustainably sourced products will serve as a daily reminder to stop and take a conscious breath. We aim to support mindfulness culture in the community by offering resources and funds for local events.

Be it breathwork, yoga, meditation, mindfulness trainings or events, we've got you covered! Highlighting some of the best of the best that the city has to offer, we are here to spread the word on the AMAZING mindful scene that exists in Kansas City and make it easier to get involved.

We want you to be the healthiest, happiest, and least stressed version of yourself, which all links back to the mind body connection. Help us to raise our collective consciousness by becoming more mindful, and sharing these practices with others along the way.

About me
Kayla Mason, Founder

For more than 10 years, I've worked as an engineer, overseeing multi-million dollar development projects across North America. When the long hours, travel, and demanding schedule began taking a negative toll on my mind and body, I knew I needed to make a change.

My body was exhausted and my mental health was suffering from many years of putting my career first. I had disconnected from my passions and desires in the pursuit of what I believed was achievement. As a result of my study of health and wellness, I began to take small steps towards a more balanced life. Through meditation, I was able to reduce my own work related stress and separate my emotions from the work I was doing. I no longer reacted and was able to listen in order to make better decisions. My relationships improved and I was happier. Through yoga, I reconnected with my inner creativity that had been supressed for so long and found my voice through teaching yoga to others. I read over thirty books in one year and gained insight on how to break old habits and patterns. I started to take the steps towards BECOMING the best version of myself. I've studied herbalism, and adopted Ayurvedic practices. I believe there are so many healing modalities out there, it's all about finding the one that works for you!

While the mindfulness experience starts within, it actually encompasses all facets of our lives - from the food we eat, to the clothes we wear. I've experienced major, life-changing benefits, both personally and professionally, from adopting simple, daily mindful practices. And now I'm on a mission to help others find what works for them.

Breathe KC was created to serve as a simple reminder to take a conscious breath. This is where it all starts....
